What is a Doula?
A Doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and educational support to mothers and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. A Doula’s mission is to make you feel safe, confident, and empowered.
-
Where are you certified?
I am certified through Childbirth International, which has been educating doulas and lactation professionals since 1998!
-
When should we start working together?
We can begin working together anytime in your pregnancy! Whether you just took the positive test, or are due anyday! The earlier the better, so you can recieve the highest quality wrap-around care and so we can connect better!
-
If I hire a doula do I still need a midwife/OB?
Yes! A doula is not a medical professional, so wherever you birth, you will need a medical provider.
-
Why should I hire a doula?
A doula can make a significant impact on your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. Studies show that having continuous support from a doula can lead to shorter labors, less interventions, and increased satisfaction with the birth experience. I provide compassionate, connected, and personalized care, helping you feel supported and confident in every stage.

Do you support all births?
I currently support home births, birth center, and hospital (if allowed) births. I do not accept freebirths. Don’t hesitate to reach out and see if I serve where you are birthing!
